I purchased my Honda out of state and was looking for a place to get a tune up, oil change, and have it looked at when... I got back into town. I came across this place online and upon reading the reviews I had called to get a quote and schedule an appointment. The customer service over the phone was very helpful and friendly. You can tell these guys have been doing this for a while because I was given a quote instantly. Not only that but my oil change for my '05 was reasonably priced especially compared to the big name places who try and give you these crazy add ons. I already knew I was leaving her in good hands when I dropped her off. Later that same day Mr. Greg called me, and this is what mattered the most to me, he gave me a detailed explanation on what they did to the vehicle as well as informed on some of the things that are going to need to be serviced soon with a price for all that as well as a price for some of my maintenance. When I went to go pick up my vehicle I had forgotten all the stuff he told me over the phone and he had no problem explaining it to me again. The other gentleman in the lobby expressed to me on how quality this place was. It seems like their customers are loyal and I was satisfied with my experience. I will continue to bring my vehicle here as I feel this is a place I can trust and not just trying to turn out customers. Premier customer service and quality parts and work! Thanks guys!read more

Disclaimer - I purchased my car with 6 miles on it in 2013 with the intent of being the ONLY owner. So when it comes to... the work done on my car I can be quite picky about the who, how where and price.Wanted to find a shop to do the routine work and parts replacements as they reach end of life. Given the reviews, I wanted to try them out. So just did the oil and filter on my 2013 Si. Total cost after tax and cash discount was cheaper then the dealership 'sale' price for oil and filter change before tax. I see why they have customer testimonials going back as far as 2004.Attentive, friendly, and well just down home feeling.Don't recall who did the work, though I am satisfied. There was no super speed acceleration when pulling it into the bay. (seen the dealership techs discover the joys of the Si when doing my oil changes). Heck he drove my car with enough care Ms. Daisy wouldn't have peep to complain about.Watched as he did the work, methodical, calculating, took his time and even checked the pressure on my tires while it was up on the rack. Gave it a check over, let me know all was well.total price- 59.95. You could go to Jiffy Lube and get a 29.99 oil special, but if you have a car like mine and it needs the good stuff to keep performance up, you prefer quality, you are into putting money into a locally own and operated business. This is the shop for you.read more

If you own a Honda, make this your ONLY stop for car care. Greg gives off great vibes, and I compared the cost of them... compared to two other nearby auto stores for the same exact job and they were so much more better and did a far superior job. I'm a life long customer.read more

Arrowwood did excellent work on my old odyssey at the end of 2020. Now in May of 2021 I had a new issue, totally... unrelated. I called and got a quote from Arrowwood and a quote from another highly rated shop. I went with the other shop because their quote was $200 lower. In the end, the other shop ended up charging me more because their estimate didn't include the top quality part or a necessary filter. Next time I'm not calling for a quote, I'm taking my Honda straight to Arrowwood. Always top quality parts. Estimates I can trust.read more

I was so impressed by Dave and Greg's level of service. I first encountered Dave around 730 pm on a Thursday (way past... their hours of operation) at his shop by coincidence. My 2000 Honda Accord has just broke down in front of their shop. I was hoping to leave the car in their parking lot until the next business day. Even though they were closed, Dave took out his tools in the parking lot and got is started so I could get it home. The next day I went back there to have them do a diagnostic. Not only did they do a thorough run down of everything wrong with my car (and let me tell you, there's a lot!), but Dave and Greg also took the time to review the diagnostic with me and gave me a priority list to focus on to get it back up and running well. As someone who has a high standard for customer service, I was so happy with my experience and I will recommend this shop to anyone with a Honda or Acura. Their team is smart, professional, kind, and they simply do the right thing. Look forward to giving them my business moving forward!read more

Extremely helpful. I just showed up at their shop not knowing they specialized in Hondas and Acuras, which is not what... I had. Ut they said since I had come all the way to them, they were going to at least diagnose the issue with my vehicle, which they did, and declined to accept any payment. Their diagnoses enabled me to repair the issue I had. I really appreciate their assistance, honesty, and professionalism.read more

Horrible experience. Do Not trust this mechanic. I brought my Honda Pilot in (engine was making a loud... ticking/fluttering noise, also making a repetitive knocking noise when turning left). I wrote a detailed note, since we dropped it off after hours.They charged $1,500 to replace the drive axle and have a timing package installed. When I picked it up and began driving, it made all the same sounds - no change! I thought maybe they repaired the wrong car? My husband called the next day and found out the other drive axle was replaced. They told us to bring it back to have the correct side installed- but they’d need to put the old one back in (since we only paid for one). They also recommended a maintenance package ($279), a power steering package ($272), and new brakes ($450+) which we have to wait on (right before Christmas).As far as the engine noise, Greg told us it must be something else and would be over $300 just to check out and diagnose! We paid to have it fixed and it’s the exact same sound - no change. We are beyond frustrated that he’s insisting this is a new issue.They did replace the “correct” drive axle but now it’s making a totally different noise when turning (solid thump/grind). As far as the engine noise, we are not paying over $300 to have it looked at by Arrowwood - when we just paid $1500 to have it fixed. We are taking it elsewhere. The car is still noisy and embarrassing- AND we are out $1500.Run from this ripoff. FAST.read more

I really wanted to like this shop, but after taking my TSX there a few times, they failed to diagnose the problem but... were able to charge me for repairs/maintenance that I could easily do myself such as changing the oil and spark plugs. Despite not diagnosing the problem, the charged me diagnostic fees each time I took it in. I finally took the vehicle to the dealership and now the vehicle runs great.read more
